AltStore & SideStore with StikDebug — Enable JIT on iOS 17.4+

AltStore and SideStore remain the easiest ways to sideload StikDebug without a paid developer account. The current StikDebug 3.1.2 release works with both for JIT on Dolphin, PPSSPP, PojavLauncher, UTM, and more, with newer 3.1 improvements for iOS 26 support, route-based location simulation, and stronger overall reliability.

StikDebug vs AltJIT vs SideStore Built-in JIT

  • StikDebug — On-device JIT for iOS 17.4+ with recent fixes for iOS 26.4 and improved iOS 26/TXM reliability. After the initial pairing setup, JIT runs directly on-device and adds tools like live logs, process controls, and location simulation.
  • AltJIT — Requires AltStore Classic and a computer on the same network whenever you want to trigger JIT. Useful for occasional use, but less flexible than StikDebug.
  • SideStore JIT — Convenient when your target app already works with SideStore's loopback workflow, but compatibility still depends on the app and iOS version.

StikDebug is recommended because it combines a one-time pairing flow with a broader debugging toolkit, so future JIT activations happen entirely on-device.

Using StikDebug with AltStore

  1. Install AltStore and sideload StikDebug (add the StikDebug source or use the IPA from our Download page)
  2. Follow our Installation Guide to set up iLoader and create a pairing file
  3. Sideload your target apps (Dolphin, PPSSPP, etc.) via AltStore
  4. Open StikDebug, connect, and enable JIT for each app

Using StikDebug with SideStore

SideStore adds wireless refresh and fits nicely with StikDebug. Install StikDebug through SideStore, finish the pairing flow, then use StikDebug for JIT, log review, process control, and location simulation on supported apps.
